We can process this whilst utilising the psychodynamic approch which looks at unconcious processes that impact on our emotions or you can opt for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), the premise behind CBT is that our thoughts feelings and behaviour are interlinked which can lead to psychological distress. It is with the expertise in CBT that we can collaboratively work together to change negative automatic thoughts into rational automatoc thoughts.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. We can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing. I also have experience working with clients who have experienced Racial -Based Trauma.
